General Statement

Highr is required to process relevant personal data as part of its operation and shall take all reasonable steps to do so in accordance with this Policy

The Principles

Highr shall so far as is reasonably practicable comply with the Data Protection Principles contained in the Data Protection Act to ensure all data is:-

  • Fairly and lawfully processed

  • Processed for a lawful purpose

  • Adequate, relevant and not excessive

  • Accurate and up to date

  • Not kept for longer than necessary

  • Processed in accordance with the data subject's rights

  • Secure

  • Not transferred to other countries without adequate protection

Data Protection Officer

The Data Protection officer is Eric Branson - Managing Director of Argonaut Business Intelligence Ltd (T/A Highr)

Background

Highr collects three types of personal data:

  1. Client Data necessary to perform our contracts

  2. Prospective Client Data to identify clients of potential interest

  3. Business Intelligence Data which is provided to our clients in order for them to approach prospective clients on the basis of their legitimate interest only.

Client data

The lawful basis for storing client data is for reasonable performance of our contracts. However in order to limit the amount and scope of personal data we hold for clients we adhere to the following:

  1. We only store the name, job title, company name, email address, telephone number and trading address of clients on our CRM. This is the minimum necessary to legally carry out our contracts.

  2. We only keep the details of users who are actively subscribing to our service. Once a contract is fulfilled the details of the users are deleted.

  3. To access our service our users require a password that is allocated by Highr but which can be changed at any time by the user. The user only has access to the part of the service for which they are subscribed.

Prospective Client Data

The lawful basis for storing prospective client data is legitimate interest. However in order to limit the amount and scope of data we hold we adhere to the following:

  1. We only contact individuals at companies who we can reasonably assume will have benefit from our service. For the avoidance of doubt that is individuals who hold senior positions at recruitment agencies. The offer we communicate via email or by telephone is logically connected with the position they hold in their business and we only communicate via communication channels related to their professional life.

  2. We only collect and store personal data that we need to assess and communicate prospective clients - name, job title, company name, email address, telephone number and trading address.

  3. We do not use 3rd parties to collect prospective client data.

Business Intelligence Data

The lawful basis for storing business intelligence data is legitimate interest. However in order to limit the amount and scope of data we hold we adhere to the following:

  1. We only collect details of  individuals at companies who we can reasonably assume will benefit from an approach by our clients or by ourselves on behalf of our clients. For the avoidance of doubt that is individuals who hold HR or Hiring Manager Responsibility and will be responsible for making decisions about using publications or recruitment agencies to assist in their hiring process.The offer our clients  communicate via email or by telephone is logically connected with the position they hold in their business and they only communicate via communication channels related to their professional life.

  2. We only collect and store personal data that is needed to assess and approach - name, job title, company name and email address.

  3. We do not use 3rd parties to collect prospective client data.

3rd party data processors

Highr does not use third parties to source personal data. However we store our data on our CRM that is operating in the cloud via Prosperworks. Prosperworks is GDPR compliant.

Rights of Access to Information

Data subjects have the right of access to information held by Highr. Any individual wishing to access, correct or delete their personal data should put their request in writing to Highr’s Data Protection Officer. Highr will endeavour to respond to any such written requests as soon as is reasonably practicable but at the latest within 14 days.

Enforcement

If you believe that Highr has not complied with this Policy or acted otherwise than in accordance with the Data Protection Act or GDPR compliance you should notify Highr’s Data Protection Officer as soon as possible.
